Sheldon XC Update: Country Fair Classic on Wed (Oct 15), Papa’s Pizza fundraiser after the meet!


Pasta dinner tonight (Oct 14) at the Lehnert home.

Update:  The race times have changed from what was listed and distributed at the beginning of the season.  Race times are now:

3:30 pm (JV Girls)
4:10 pm (JV Boys)
4:45 pm (Varsity Girls)
5:20 pm (Varsity Boys)
6:00 pm (Awards Ceremony)

  • The kids are dismissed from class at 1:15 pm
  • The buses load at 1:30 pm
  • Our Papa’s Pizza fundraiser is also Wed, Oct 15 at the Coburg Road restaurant.  50% of all food orders go directly to our team, with the flyer (coupon); not good on delivery, but good on take-out and dine-in.  We hope a large group will go there after our meet and hang out together!

Info from Country Fair Classic meet director:  Welcome to the 2014 Country Fair Classic, hosted by Elmira HS, and held at the Country Fair Grounds in Veneta. Directions to the Fairgounds- From Veneta on Hwy 126, turn north onto Territorial Hwy. Go apprx. one mile and turn west on to Suttle road. (The Hilltop Market sits at the junction) Go west about 2-3 miles,(NEW BUS PARKING) and turn south on to the next road past Aero road. (We will have a parking attendant at Aero Raod to help you) Continue straight thru the gate and buses will park to the left as they enter the fields. *If it is raining and getting too wet to park buses in the field, we will  line them up on the same road you came in on.
