1. Our district meet is tomorrow (Wed, Oct 22) at Lane Community College
2. Race times are 2:00 pm (Varsity Girls), 2:45 pm (Varsity Boys), 3:30 pm (JV Girls), and 4:15 pm (JV Boys).  An awards ceremony follows at 5:00 pm.  PLEASE EVERYONE STAY FOR THE AWARDS CEREMONY!!!
3. The students are dismissed from class at 11:30 am.  The buses load at 11:45 am.
4. Please bring uniform, race shoes, training shoes, water bottle, *Secret Pal Gift, **change of clothes, warm clothes, rain gear, snack/sack lunch, and whatever else you may need.
5. *Tomorrow is the last day for Secret Pals.  It’s the time you reveal who you are and give the last gift of the season.  For those who have missed giving gifts at various meets, you need to do something extra this time.
6. **We will be collecting race singlets (jersey tops) after each JV race, so please bring a change of clothes so you can return your wet (and likely muddy) jersey in after your race.  We are hoping our varsity teams will be racing on November 1, so we won’t plan to collect their singlets tomorrow.
7. Although most of our athletes will be done racing after tomorrow, we do encourage anyone who wishes to continue practicing with us until the State Meet (Nov.1).  It’s optional for the JV runners, but you’re more than welcome to join us.
8. We will have an ALL-TEAM MEETING on Thursday after school.  We have a special guest coming to talk about an important event here in town this weekend that you’ll want to hear about.  We also will want to review the results of the District meet and talk about the next week, as well as Winter Training.  Please plan to come Thursday to practice!
9. Thanks everyone for your efforts so far.  Tomorrow is a huge opportunity for everyone to finish strong!  I can’t wait!!!  Get some rest and ‘see you tomorrow!
