From Coach Erin Regali: Uniforms, Team pasta dinner (Tues, Mar 17), First official meet (Wed, Mar 18)

Track & Field Families-

Uniforms will be handed out at practice on Monday-Please check in with your athlete to see if it fits and comfortable to wear. If you need to make an adjustment please email me so that I can bring to practice on Tuesday. With our first meet this week we are under a time crunch!  (I will be showing kids examples of uniform types at practice)

Team Paste Feed Dinner-Tuesday March 17th 5:30 to 7:00 in Sheldon Cafeteria-We provide the pasta dinner and drinks and ask you to help by bringing the following:

     9th Grade-Green salad &Dressing or Fruit

     10th Grade-Garlic Bread or Rolls

     11th Grade-Desserts

12th Grade-Choose one of the above to fill in

If all kids contribute then we have a great pasta dinner!

Also we are looking for parent volunteers for the following:

(2) 4:30 to 5:30 to help set up

(2) 5:30 to end-Serve and clean up (email Coach Erin if interested)

First Official Track Meet Wednesday March 18th at Springfield High School (Click here for Meet Schedule in pdf)

Athletes are dismissed from class after 3rd period

The buses to Springfield leave at 1:45

Field Events begin at 3:00

Running Events begin at 3:45 (Schedule Attached)

All athletes should ride the Bus to Springfield unless special circumstances and must be approved by Coach Erin Regali

(Parent can take their kids home from the meet, but I will have one bus to return to Sheldon at the conclusion of the meet. )

We encourage athletes to stay for the entire meet to support their teammates.

(Monday at Practice we will have information for athletes on what events they are participating in on Wednesday. )

Spring Break-We do not hold “Official” practice during spring break. Over the years we have learned that many families travel during this time and it is difficult to plan around so many schedules. Each Individual coach will address with their event areas as to if there is practice or provide workout for kids to do on their own.

Thank you to everyone that supported the Run for the Shamrock this past weekend. Overall the numbers were down a bit, but still a success! The Sheldon Athletes that volunteered did an Outstanding job and was greatly appreciated!!

Reminder if you still have Donation letters to return to Coach Erin Regali please do so this week so that they can be mailed out-March is the big month of Fundraising for our Track team-so thank you for your patience and support!

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me anytime-
