Summer Running Schedule


Hello Sheldon Runners, Parents, Coaches,
The Sheldon Cross Country Summer Run schedule is about to start.  Beginning next Monday, June 22, we will be meeting for the following schedule:
Mondays, 6:00 pm at Alton Baker Park/Pre’s Trail
Wednesdays, 6:00 pm at Alton Baker Park/Pre’s Trail
Fridays, 4:30 pm at Sheldon’s Track
We encourage all interested athletes to come run with us as much as you can this summer.  It’s easier and more fun to get in shape for the season with the team!  We will adapt your training to where you are in your fitness, understanding that some of you are brand new to distance running, while others are ready for high mileage, with most of you in between somewhere.
Parents, if you’re trying to figure out how long these practice sessions are, most should be between 75-90 minutes long, because we don’t just meet to run, but the team does stretching, drills and also meets to discuss various topics pertaining to the sport and the season.
We hope to see you all beginning June 22.
