Hi XC Families,

We had a great day at Western Oregon on Saturday! Thanks to all the parents that came and supported the team. It was our first time attending this meet, slightly different format with a 3K race for JV athletes. With another 5K race coming up on Wednesday the shorter distance for some was a nice relief. Last week had its stresses with hot weather and school starting for many of the student athletes. Overall outstanding performances by our team!

Here is what’s ahead:

• Wednesday September 16th XC meet in Grants Pass-Location is the All Sport Park
  Race Schedule: All 5000 Meters
  9/10 Girls at 3:45
  9/10 Boys at 4:30
  11/12 Girls at 5:15
  11/12 Boys at 6:00
• Students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. & leave Sheldon at 11:30
• Student should pack for a long day, all weather conditions and possible rain. Bring a lunch & money to stop for dinner on the way home
• We will provide transportation to and from the meet on buses-approximate return to Sheldon 10:00 or 11:00
