In the girls race, South Eugene placed all five of their scoring runners in the top 10 to win the meet with 31 points. Sheldon was second with 72 and Marist was third with 106.
(Editor’s note: Sheldon’s Gracie Todd finished 2nd to Sara Tsai of South Eugene)
In the boys race, South Eugene’s Reilly Bloomer won the race in 15:17, but Sheldon won the team title with 57 points, edging the Axemen, who finished with 59.
Sheldon’s Jackson Mestler finished second in 15:35, South’s Mason Wegener was fourth in 15:47, and Sheldon’s Tristan Carpenter was fifth in 16:04.
