The Twilight 5k is our team’s big annual fundraiser. The success of this run is extremely important to success of our programs. The school district provides the athletic programs with exactly zero dollars to operate our programs; that means that having supportive parents and athletes like you is the only way we can keep our program going! Last year our run was very successful. Every year we ask that each athlete gets total of 5 people to either sign up for our run or make a donation. So parents, please help us coaches out and encourage your athlete to do his or her part.
Date: Thursday, September 21, 2017
Time: 6:00pm Start for 5k run and walk events.
Location: EWEB Plaza – Eugene, Oregon
Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
Course: The 5K starts and finishes on EWEB Plaza, running along the bike paths and crossing the Autzen and DeFazio Bridges.

Here is some information for the week ahead…April 10-15th
Reminder to pay your Participation fees ($150) to the finance office ASAP-If you have not paid your fees for the track season they must be done this week in order to participate. Please see Julia Girod in Finance office for further questions.
Please make sure your son or daughter is enrolled in (4) classes!!
Team Pasta Feed Tuesday April 11th at 5:30 in Sheldon Cafeteria
Parents can volunteer in kitchen from 4:00-6:30
Athletes asked to bring the following (Please do your part for the dinner so that we have enough food!):
9th-Salads or fruit
Wednesday-Sheldon vs. Marist AT Sheldon (This is a change in schedule)
Athletes are excused from class after 4th period-BUT can stay in 5th period if needed
If you are interested in volunteering at the meet please email Erin Regali (firstname.lastname@example.org) this was not a meet we were supposed to host, so I am in need of volunteers to fill in the gaps.
Thursday-Practice at 3:45 & Then we host our 1st of 4 Middle School Track meets. This is a team fundraiser-we are responsible for setting up, running field events & cleaning up. Athletes are asked to help in these areas. The meet concludes around 6:00 or 6:30.
Oregon Relays Friday & Saturday-This is a meet with limited entries & final confirmation of accepted entries is Tuesday evening. We will communicate with athletes at practice today and tomorrow on weekend.
Next week-Home meet on Tuesday April 18th with Grants Pass & as well as a Papa’s Night! Please plan to eat pizza, buy gift certificates, have lunch, share with friends-every dollar helps the program! Flyer (posted here)
